Horse Crazy Kids

Horse Crazy Kids is where Horse-loving kids can come together and spend time learning and having fun with their favourite thing – Horses!

We meet once a month, and have fun learning about all aspects of horse riding, training, health, and handling.

Some of the Horse Crazy Kids use our horses, and some bring their own for the weekend. All kids start off in the Beginners camp and, once they progress to being Horse Crazy Kids, move through stages from learning how to gallop, to jump, dressage, bareback riding, trail riding and eventually, riding at liberty (without saddle or halter) in a controlled area. The kids also learn about starting horses (also known as ‘breaking-in’), training and educating, how to trim horse’s hooves, what to feed a horse, and how a breeding program works.

But most of all, the kids have a great weekend full of laughter, smiles, and horsey fun.

Horse Crazy Kids registration is $100 a year and $80 for each Kids Club day.
